The work on Bible 2020 was split into 3 phases, the first of which was the addition of a custom service used for locating Bible 2020 partners. This was built using the Google Maps API and geolocation services to locate the nearest partner to the user from anywhere in the world.
Video Sharing
The second phase involved integrating with a custom API providing video sharing data to create a platform for users to share videos of passage readings from the Bible.
Location Map
The third phase of work was the creation of a custom map that displays user interaction with the Bible2020 app. The map displays interactions in real-time, and details which countries videos have been uploaded from.
