Way back in 2018, I built Take To The Skyes as a place to display my photos of various places I had travelled to in Scotland. In 2021, I decided to rebuild the site in WordPress to act as more of a travel blog.
Design
I produced the designs for the site in Figma as a way to familiarise myself with the software, which I've also used in my professional work. The site is mainly image-centric, with large bleeding banners as well as polaroid inspired image blocks.
